Woman finds diamond at state park

The rough diamond is about half the size of a quarter.

Oskarson named her find the Esperanza Diamond, after her niece, and plans to keep the gem.

Several other diamonds have been found by park visitors in the past few decades. The biggest one weighed roughly 40 carats. It was found in 1924 and is called the Uncle Sam diamond.
