A man approached the car, knocking on the window due to loud music. When Bankhead appeared to be reaching for something, the man shot him, thinking he was grabbing a weapon. However, he says no gun was found in the car. Sheffield is now asking for witnesses to come forward, hoping that someone can provide information to help reopen the case. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to $2,500 for any tips that lead to an arrest.
