Cannabis Festival Featuring Live Music, Comedy Show and More Comes to Ypsilanti The Canna Jam state-licensed cannabis event will take place Saturday, October 9 in Ypsilanti at Riverside Park on Cross Street from noon to 10 p.m. There will be great entertainment, vendors, networking, advocacy groups, cannabis information and sales and the ability to use cannabis at the actual event. This inaugural production will feature music, comedy, dancing, food and the removal of the stigma and legal risks historically associated with using cannabis while enjoying a live performance from world-class entertainment. Headliners Echoes of Pink Floyd will pay flawless tribute to Pink Floyd music while providing an epic laser light show, and rising star comedian Mike Young “Who the F@&k is Mike Young” brings the laughter with his critically-acclaimed show. Warming up for this world-class entertainment will be four-time Stanley Cup Champion Darren McCarty and his Comedy Slapstick Tour with other local artists and comedians providing live entertainment throughout the day. Other vendors will provide great food, coffee, t-shirts, paraphernalia and other schwag to help memorialize the experience. VIP participants will get access to private consuming areas with the performers, other VIPs and special guests with food and other amenities provided. Portion of Proceeds to be donated to the John Sinclair Foundation and the Redemption Foundation. Shimmy Shack?s Caramel Dip for Apples 1 TBSP Arrowroot or Cornstarch 2 dates (pitted and chopped) 1 ? cup coconut cream or full fat coconut milk ? cup coconut sugar ? tsp salt ? tsp vanilla 1. Add arrowroot, dates, ? cup coconut cream/milk to food processor or blender. Blend until creamy and smooth (re-cream if date chunks are present) 2. In a saucepan add coconut sugar then add the mix from step 1. Heat on medium and WHISK for 2-4 mins. Do not boil. When glossy and deep golden brown it is done. 3. Remove saucepan from heat and add remaining ? cup milk/cream, salt and vanilla 4. Taste 5. Cool 6. Transfer to glass jar and let cool completely 7.
