Beal leads Wizards past Drummond, depleted Detroit

Bradley Beal's 22 points and six assists helped the Washington Wizards shake off what coach Scott Brooks called a "really bad" outing and beat the depleted Pistons 115-99 in a half-empty arena Monday night while ending Detroit star Andre Drummond's 20-20 streak.

Raptors beat Pistons 125-113

Raptors forward Pascal Siakam scored 30 points five times last season, when he played in 80 games.

Pistons Griffin out until at least November

The Detroit Pistons start their season Wednesday in Indiana and they'll be missing one huge piece.  The team announced Tuesday that star forward Blake Griffin will not travel and will be re-evaluated the first week of Novemeber with a left hamstring injury and posterier knee soreness.
