NEW YORK (AP) - Little Rocket led off Day 2 of the Major League Baseball draft. The Detroit Tigers took Texas second baseman Kody Clemens, the youngest son of seven-time Cy Young winner Roger Clemens, with the opening pick of the third round - No. 79 overall - as the draft resumed Tuesday.

Tigers activate Miguel Cabrera from DL

DETROIT (AP) - The Detroit Tigers activated Miguel Cabrera from the 10-day disabled list on Friday and put him back into the starting lineup against the Toronto Blue Jays. Cabrera was hitting .323 with a .924 OPS when he went on the disabled list on May 4 with a hamstring strain. His return was slowed by back stiffness during his recovery process.
