Lions fan and season ticket holder Ryan Kennedy, wearing a blue wig, gets Pittsburgh wide receiver DK Metcalf’s attention by holding up a Steelers jersey. Words were exchanged, then this. Kennedy’s attorney, Shawn Head, says these are the words that were not used in that exchange.

Santa made deliveries a couple of days earlier. FOX 2 followed him on Detroit’s east side as he made these kids’ day. It was all a part of the fifth annual Royal Empowerment Christmas Parade. First responders drove through several neighborhoods in the city to give gifts and resources to lower- and fixed-income families. Also helping Santa was Detroit Police Chief Todd Bettison.

Mayor Duggan was at the Detroit Police Department headquarters giving his final residential blight removal report, stating that when he started his term 12 years ago, Detroit had 47,000 abandoned Land Bank–owned homes.

Police say it started as a domestic incident between a man and a woman. During the dispute, a relative of the woman got involved and fired a gun at Williams, killing him, according to investigators.
