Nice and mild Saturday. Rain tomorrow!
video

After a few areas of patchy fog burn off early Saturday morning, expect a mix of sun and clouds during the afternoon with temperatures rocketing into the mid/upper 60s. It'll be a wonderful outdoor day to take advantage of given that more clouds and rain are on the way by Sunday. A Lakeshore Flood Watch will go into effect at 10am, Saturday and remain in place through 10am, Sunday given our northeast wind that may drive high waters into parts of Monroe and Wayne counties.

Mother's Day Rain with a few Rumbles
video

If you're heading out on a socially distanced walk with mom this morning, for the most part, you should stay dry. However, by late morning and into this afternoon, we're expecting scattered showers to develop along with a few thunderstorms. Though we're not expecting severe storms, a few of the storms that do develop could contain small hail with lightning. Highs should top out in the mid/upper 50s. Thankfully, 60s and 70s are on the way by the end of this workweek. Happy Mother's Day!

Chilly Mother's Day Weekend
video

After a record cold start to your Saturday morning with temps in the mid/upper 20s with flurries, we'll see temperatures eventually "warm" to the upper 40s with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Mother's Day Sunday looks cool and wet. Scattered showers are expected through the late morning, afternoon and evening with an area of low pressure moving through. You may want to table any outdoor plans with mom until the middle of the workweek with clearer skies and temperatures in the mid/upper 50s.

Expect to see a few snowflakes mixing with a few raindrops today with high temps only in the mid 40s. Freeze Warning will go into effect from midnight to 9:00am, Saturday! Lows will bottom out in the upper 20s meaning a hard freeze. Bring in or cover up your sensitive plants, and please don't forget your furry friends outside as well. Though a few showers are in the forecast on Mother's Day Sunday, drier and warmer air will move in by the middle half of next week!
