The Michigan based Joe Vicari Restaurant Group, has become the 22nd largest restaurant group in the United States in terms of restaurant unit count with 25 restaurants across 10 concepts, as ranked by Nations Restaurant News and Technomic. For over 40 years, Detroit restaurateur Joe Vicari has opened restaurants based on three basic principles: fresh authentic cuisine, impeccable service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere. Model T 115th Birthday

The first of 15 million Model Ts rolled off the production line in 1908 at Henry Ford’s original Detroit factory at 461 Piquette Avenue. An unprecedented and revolutionary machine, the Model T helped make Detroit the Silicon Valley of its era and influenced automotive trends into the current century. Detroiters can celebrate the car that put the world on wheels at the annual Model T Birthday Party on Sunday, October 1. The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant Museum will mark the occasion with free Model T rides, a vintage vehicle show, live music, food and shopping between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. Admission to the museum’s event space on the first floor is free. The line for free T rides (subject to availability) will form at the historic front entrance. T Birthday cake will be served at Noon! Reality TV star Daisy Kelliher from BELOW DECK to appear at Progressive Metro Boat Show

Yachting Legacy Daisy Kelliher will be on hand at the 2023 Progressive Metro Boat Show. Daisy is most recently known for her role as Chief Stew aboard the Bravo TV series BELOW DECK SAILING YACHT. Meet Daisy, talk about her experiences on the TV Show, get your picture with her and learn how to make her favorite Boating Cocktails at the show! Meet and Greet sessions will be at the show on Saturday and Sunday Sept. 16 and 17 from 11am – 1pm and 2pm to 4pm. Daisy was introduced to travelling and sailing from a young age. Being born in France, then moving to Antigua and finally settling in Dublin, Ireland at the age of six, moving around and being by the water was always second nature to her. Daisy spent her summers learning to dinghy sail in Dun Laoghaire Harbour. Her father (who is an experienced "yachtie" himself) encouraged his daughter to give the world of yachting a go. Just after 25 Daisy ventured to Antibes where she began her 11-year career in the world of super yachts. Daisy worked her way up to chief stew after being in the industry for 2 years and had a fulfilling career which mainly consisted of private sail boats, that had a world travelling itinerary. She was lucky enough to be able to travel to some incredible places including, French Polynesia, Indonesia, Thailand, all of the East and West coast of USA, Alaska, Hawaii, Scandinavia and a lot of Europe and the Caribbean. After 8 years of working full time in the industry covid hit, which led her on to her next journey, Below Deck. With three successful seasons under her belt as Chief stew on Below Deck Sailing, she's grateful she took that leap of faith and excited for what the world of yachting and reality TV has in store for her.
