Cheerio Challenge taking over the internet - and FOX 2

(WJBK) - Dads taking on the Cheerio Challenge is the latest internet craze. The object of the challenge is simple -- stack as many cheerios as you can on top of your sleeping child.

A Facebook group called Life of Dad started the challenge, and often re-posts photos from fans.

It may sound easy but dads online say it's harder than it looks, especially when you're trying to hold back your laughter.

Some were able to get eight or nine. Others formed multiple stacks.

We tried it on air Monday morning. Jay and Deena's kept falling off, but they eventually got a few. Amy and Alan's stack got a respectable eight, though. You can watch in the video player above.
