Berkley Public Safety urges us to Be The Match joining Bone Marrow Registry

(WJBK) - Every three minutes someone in the United States is diagnosed with a blood cancer like leukemia. For many, their only hope for a cure is a bone marrow transplant.

That's why a local police department is challenging you to step up and save a life. 

Officer Brian Gothard from the Berkley Department of Public Safety is here to explain their "Be The Match" challenge. You can hear from him in the video player above.
