Big turnout supporting Clawson teacher who suffered heart attack

CLAWSON, Mich. (WJBK) - A big turnout tonight to support a Clawson High School teacher.

Doug McKnight, a science teacher, suffered a heart attack last weekend.

At Friday's varsity basketball game, some students wore blue and gold to support McKnight who is a die-hard University of Michigan fan.

The students put together this support drive Friday ordering T-shirts and making buttons.

They have even started the #DougStrong and have received a lot of retweets and responses from University of Michigan football and basketball players.

McKnight has been teaching at the school for twenty four years.
