Ilitch Holdings to begin boarding up properties near Little Caesars Arena Monday

(WJBK) - Vacant buildings around Little Caesars Arena will soon be boarded up.

The process is expected to start Monday morning around 8 am. The city told Ilitch holdings to take care of the problem they will get tickets starting on Tuesday.

Since the arena opened not much progress has been made on this issue until now.

A spokesperson from Ilitch holdings told us, "we work closely with representatives from the city on a wide range of topics and are responding as required to a notification made for the first time just a few weeks ago."
