Local man in second Tesla autopilot crash

Another Tesla has crashed while on auto-pilot, but this time it involves a local man.

The driver who was hurt is Albert Scaglione, the owner of a Southfield art gallery.

He survived Friday's rollover crash, which happened in Pennsylvania along with his son-in-law.

The driver says the car was in auto-pilot when the crash happened but police say that claim is still being investigated.

Last Wednesday, federal officials announced an investigation into the design and performance of Tesla's autopilot system.

It comes after a  40-year-old Canton, Ohio man was killed in a crash while the car was in self-driving mode.
