It has been two months since John Christopher Kimbrough made contact with his family.

"I'm missing him a lot," said Branden Heath. "He's there for me, every phone call I make he picks up."

Branden is Kimbrough's oldest son, one of three boys.  He has a 12-year-old son and a 7-year-old that he adopted.

"I'm stepping in for my father to help raise them," Braden said.

Stepping in ever since Kimbrough disappeared. He was last seen at a work Christmas party held at the banquet hall at the Riverside Marina.

"He was in good spirits. He was happy about going to the party," said Letta McPherson. "Like normal, like other parties that we attend."

According to family members, Kimbrough was last seen on surveillance cameras at the Riverside Marina Banquet Hall leaving the facility. He left on foot. they know that because his car was still here parked in the lot and towed just a couple days later.

But what happened after 10 p.m. that night is a mystery. Kimbrough was last seen wearing a mink coat with a Rolex watch. The fear is he was target by thieves and possibly abducted.

The bottom line is the family just want to know what happened to him.

Loved ones armed with missing posters canvas the stores on Detroit's east side on Jefferson near the marina.  The posters carry the number to Crime Stoppers 1-800-SPEAK-UP.  Call in a tip if you have any information.
