Names of victims in Orlando nightclub attack released

The city of Orlando is now releasing the names of the victims killed in the massacre at Pulse nightclub early Sunday morning.

50 people were killed and 53 were injured when a gunman opened fire on the crowded club around 2 a.m. Sunday. The suspect has been identified as a Port St. Lucie, Florida man. 

Around 4 p.m. Sunday, police and city officials began posting the names of the victims whose next of kin have been contacted. The list will be periodically updated on as those who died are identified and families and loved ones notified. The city gave no additional information other than the names.
