Police hope you recognize bumbling crooks in Commerce gas store robbery

COMMERCE TWP., Mich. (WJBK) - Some bumbling crooks were caught on camera robbing a gas station in northern Oakland County.

Video from the Mobil on W. Maple Road in Commerce Township Thursday night. You see a man get in by smashing the glass in the front door with a hammer.

He jumps over the counter and grabs the cash from the register. Then a female accomplice comes in, falling as she jumps over the counter.
    
She grabbed cigarettes but had trouble getting back over the counter. Police also say another woman was with them -- possibly driving the getaway car -- a dark Chevy Malibu or Impala.
