I-96 reopens after man hit, killed in Livingston County

Westbound I-96 has reopened near M-59 in Livingston County after a man was hit and killed by a vehicle Thursday morning.

Michigan State Police said a 32-year-old Howell man jumped from the M-59 overpass onto the freeway, where he was hit. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
