Update: Missing Dundee woman found safe

Livingston County Sheriff's Department says two people who were target shooting near railroad tracks Sunday, discovered 20-year-old Saidie Hopkins laying in a field next to a cell phone tower.

Hopkins, who has a closed head injury, had been missing from her Dundee home for days.

Investigators say Hopkins was non-verbal when they initially arrived at the scene.

She was taken to St. Joseph hospital in Howell, where doctors found nothing visibly wrong with her.

Investigators say the woman later explained she was on a spiritual journey and took a vow of silence.

She apparently followed the train tracks from Dundee north to Howell. Investigators say no crime occurred and she has been reunited with her family.
