(WJBK) - Sandy Swadish from GreatStaff Solutions in Wixom shares some interviewing tips about what hiring managers like to see more from candidates.

She recommends always being:

  • On time
  • Dressed appropriately
  • Prepared (know about the company, the position and what you are interviewing for)
  • Available and ready to start work right away

She also always recommends bring your resume along, even if they have a copy.

Be able to talk about your strengths, but don't oversell your experience or capabilities. And never give negative comments about past employers.

Position: Medical Biller
Temp to hire position
Pay rate:  $14-15/HR
Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am to 4:30pm
Location: Wixom
They are a durable medical equipment company
Requirements:
       MUST have 3-5 years' experience as a medical biller.
       Medical biller education is a huge plus

Position:Tech Support
Temp to hire position
Pay rate:  $17/HR
Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am to 5:00pm or 10:00am to 7:00pm
Location: Ann Arbor
Company provides technical support for internal and external clients, engineers, technicians, sales, trainers and clients. Delivers professional and top quality customer service to all customers while performing within departmental call duration targets. Troubleshoots and resolves any issues related to different software and hardware.
Requirements:
       Knowledge of Windows Operating systems
       Super Dos and SQL knowledge preferred
       Ability to install and troubleshoot software
       Ability to install and configure hardware at the board level
       Ability to install and troubleshoot TCP/IP
       Excellent written and oral communication skills
       Networking experience preferred
       High School Degree or equivalent required
       College or technical degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
       1-2 years customer service experience in a call center environment
       1-2 years or help desk or technical support experience preferred

Position:Assembly
Temp to hire position
Pay rate: $10/HR
Hours: Monday-Thursday 6:00am to 4:30pm
Location: Wixom
Automotive Assembly Company
Requirements:
       Good attention to detail and experience providing quality product
       Will also be required to assemble small parts
       Will be using pneumatic air guns, screwdrivers, etc.
       There is some lifting required
