Woman injured in hit and run on Harper Street asks witnesses to come forward

After being injured in a hit and run, a Detroit woman is speaking out about the incident.

"Because I was slightly shocked, I didn't even realize what happened," said Lisa Collins. "And I stepped off the curb I did one, two and boom. That was it."

Collins was leaving a convenient store when she stepped off the curb. That's when a black SUV clipped her while traveling east on Harper. Her leg, arm and back were all injured in process.

"(They) sad my back is flattened. My spine is flattened," she said.

Luckily, she said her husband has been taking good care of her.
