Roomates shoot each other, one jailed in Monroe Township

The 52-year-old man who was arrested allegedly shot his roommate, and then fled the area. He was arrested a short while later, and taken to an area hospital, where he was treated for his own gunshot wound and released to police custody.

Pontiac mother of 5 killed in apparent domestic violence situation.

Latrece Shanna Harper, 33, was found dead about 7:30 p.m. Thursday in her Pontiac home, about 15 minutes later her boyfriend was found with a self-inflicted gunshot wound at his own house in Bloomfield Township. Police say it appears to have been a murder suicide.
