Grab your umbrellas if you plan on being out and about today. Periods of rain are expected not only this morning, but more so through this afternoon and evening as a cold front moves through Metro Detroit. We are only expecting between 0.10 and 0.25 inches of rain. Highs will struggle to make it into the upper 50s. We should fall to around 40 degrees overnight. By mid to late week, though warmer air is on the way, showers and perhaps a few thunderstorms will also work their way into the picture.

Take advantage of the sunshine while its out because increasing clouds will eventually lead to mostly cloudy skies this afternoon and through this evening. Temperatures will top out in the mid 50s this afternoon with overnight lows in the 40s. Rain is back on Sunday.

We are off to a cold and frost start this morning! Grab your winter coats, gloves and hat. We will eventually warm the temperatures in to the mid 50s under partly sunny skies. Winds at times will gust up to 20 mph. Temperatures will again fall into the mid 30s overnight. Though Saturday looks good, Sunday should feature more clouds and rain.
