Ever feel your phone vibrating but it really didn't?

It's probably one of the most annoying things ever: when you think your phone vibrated but you realize it actually didn't. It's called "phantom" vibration and it's all in the mind.

Psychologists say these "fake" phone calls are all in your head. According to experts, when things happen at random intervals, like a phone ringing, we start to think about them more and anticipate them happening.

Your brain then misinterprets the signal your body sends, resulting in "phantom" vibration.

Research shows the more you use your smartphone, the more likely you are to experience phantom calls or texts. It's not a health risk, but if it's bugging you, experts say try turning off your device once in a while.

You're mind really is playing tricks on you!
