Family of Highland Park officer who suffered aneurysm needs help

His resume reflects a lifetime of giving back as a U.S. veteran, firefighter and police officer.

But this public servant now badly needs some help.

Tuesday night a fundraiser was held for Highland Park Officer Eric Clayton, who suffered an aneurysm in April, and is still hospitalized.

Due to all added stress, his wife suffered a stroke, and is also hospitalized. Clayton was working as part time and neither he or his wife has insurance or paid time off.

In addition to tonight's fundraiser, Clayton's family set up a GoFundMe page. CLICK HERE to donate.
