Firefighters put out DDOT bus on fire on I-94

DETROIT (WJBK) - A DDOT bus on I-94 caught fire Monday afternoon and once the flames were put out, little remained of the charred bus.
The bus caught fire on I-94 at Warren Ave in Detroit before 3 p.m. Monday. Firefighters rushed to put the flames out and by 3:15, a charred shell of the bus remained.
Traffic on eastbound I-94 was backed up as traffic was narrowed to one lane.
Police say there were no passengers and the driver is safe. The vehicle is waiting to be towed.
