Richland Twp. home explosion sends 6 to hospital

(WJBK) - A house explosion in Saginaw County sent six people to the hospital on Friday -- five of which were children.

The incident happened yesterday afternoon in Richland Township. Investigators suspect a propane leak caused the explosion.

The explosion was so strong that it threw the children and their father right out of the house. Miraculously, they are all expected to survive.

"I had no idea until I got out here and saw the mess that's here that it's bad. God was watching over them, that's all I can say," said said Bill Chapman, the father and grandfather of the victims.
