Amanda Lynn Benton from Melvindale has not been seen since early Monday morning.  Her family fears the worst.

“She has four babies and is pregnant with her fifth. Please help us find her," said Diane Benton, Amanda’s sister.

Amanda, 29, was last seen in her Melvindale home Monday at 3:30 a.m. She took her green Dodge Neon and headed to southwest Detroit.

“I guess she knows people around here, and is cool with all the people around here you know," said Andrew Diabo, Amanda’s boyfriend and expectant father.

That knowledge led the family to Pitt and Norman Street in Southwest Detroit. At around 10 p.m. Monday, her car was found - locked and ransacked.  So why did Amanda go to Southwest Detroit from her Melvindale home so early in the morning?

“She was going to check herself into rehab take her to a rehab. She’d been going through issues. She lost her kids about a year ago and since then she's been up-and-down, you know," said Diabo.

“She will come out here, she’ll get what she needs and she’ll go home. She doesn't hang around this neighborhood,” said Benton.

People in this neighborhood tell Fox 2, it's known for drugs and prostitution. Both Detroit and Melvindale police have been contacted.

“Find my baby that’s inside her stomach. That baby is innocent,” said Diabo. “They need to find that baby.”

Family tells Fox 2 that a homeless man found Amanda’s purse in an alley on Ferris near Vernor in Southwest Detroit. Her wallet, identification, and her cell phone are missing.

The family is in the process of making fliers with Amanda's picture on it. They also are coming up with a cash reward for whoever finds Amanda - no questions asked.

“I know something happened, and I know somebody knows,” said Benton. “I just want to find my sister so we can bring her home, please."
