Video footage takes police one step closer to solving Jahill Acuff's murder

Jahill Acuff’s body was found in his living room by a friend on Jan.24th, and now his family is asking why and who?

“He had a lot going for himself,” said Jaill’s brother Niegel Blythe. “Jealousy, envy and greed is what it was. He would have given it to you and you still took his life.”

Jahill’s brother has his theories about why someone would kill Jahill, but right now, helping police find the killer is number one.

“Turn yourself in because soon or later, you gone get caught,” said Niegel.

The two women shown in the video released by police could hold the key to figuring out who killed the 36-year-old.

“When I seen it, I recognized who it was,” said Niegel. “You could have called the police or anything, instead of leaving him there dying.”

Police have not said what the women may know about the murder, but they know Jahill was found shot to death in his home on Grayton about a week ago.

“It’s been very hard,” said Niegel. “Every day I think about my brother. He has not been laid in the ground, but whoever you are you should feel horrible everyday about what you did to my brother.”

Jahill’s father will hold a lot of memories about his son in his heart.

“His laughter,” said Jahill’s father Frank Blythe. “He would make you laugh all the time.”

However, Jahill’s brother and dad are not alone in feeling the loss.

“I’m touched by what happened and it hurts me,” said Jahill’s neighbor Kenneth London “For somebody that you know to be getting murdered, that’s bad.”
