WARREN, Mich. (Fox 2) - The Warren man found guilty of impregnating his teenage daughter was setenced Monday.
With his family calling him an animal, sick and evil, and the judge stating the man's deviance "utterly mind-blowing," 37-year-old Gregory St. Andre was sentenced to 27-50 years in prison.
"All I can say is what's done is done...carrying around this anger and hate," said St. Andre's ex wife Shannon St. Andre, who read a statement from their now 21-year-old daughter.
St. Andrew, who originally withdrew his plea before later pleading guilty appologized to his family.
"I just want to say how truly sorry I am," St. Andre said. "I don't want you to blame yourself or think any of this is your fault."
While St. Andrew said he was remorseful and sorry, pleading for forgiveness, the judge read a journal entry written by the man, saying he "didn't regret any of it."
