They take small groups of women on outdoor day trips (think hiking, biking, paddling and boarding) with a twist, the ladies don't know where they?re going or what they?re doing until they arrive. COTS is gearing up for its 2021 Soup City annual fundraiser, featuring music by Alexander Zonjic & Friends. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Soup City will be a virtual event for the whole family with the theme "The Virtual Houseparty." Cassel?s Restaurant will close on January 24th just one week before restaurants could open for indoor dining with restrictions in place. The owner Melissa Collins started working at the restaurant at just 14 and bought Cassel?s when she was 23 years old. With the closure near, Collins says she?ll be updating her resume and sending it out to bigger businesses, hoping for a job with a corporation.
