Shimmy Shack’s PB&C Dream Bars A dreamy peanut butter and chocolate bar. Warning: extremely addicting! 1. Make the crust: 1 cup gluten free flour, ¼ cup powdered sugar, ½ cup earth balance (soy free). Beat I food processor or with a spoon. Fill a 9x9 pan. Bake 15-20 mins at 350 degrees. Cool then crumble in food processor like graham cracker crumbs. 2. Make the peanut butter layer. 1 ¼ cup cookie crumbs from step 1. 1 ½ cups gluten free oats, 1 cup powdered sugar. 1 cup unsweetened peanut butter. ½ cup soy free earth balance. a. Melt the earth balance; add to crumbs and oats and powdered sugar. b. Press in bottom of parchment lined (and lightly brushed with earth balance) in a 9x9 pan. c. Refrigerate 3. Make the chocolate topping. 12 ounces of chocolate chips. ¼ peanut butter. a. Melt the chips b. Add peanut butter c. Mix. d. Spread on top of peanut butter layer. 4.
