Portraits in Power: Through the Lens of The Black Canon will transform the Detroit Historical Museum into a living archive of Black brilliance. Guests will experience a curated exhibition, artist talks, film screening, silent auction, signature cocktails and full museum access. Crews are continuing to work to repair a water main break on 14 Mile in Novi. The break stifled water pressure for thousands, who continue to deal with little to no water Friday.

Chicago man arrested in ID theft scheme that stretched to Metro Detroit

David Williams has been charged with identity theft, stealing a financial transaction device without consent, and no operator's license on person after his arrest last weekend. The Chicago man appeared in court the same day and was given a $75,000 cash bond after his arraignment, which follows an investigation by Troy police into a complex identity theft scheme that targeted victims around Metro Detroit.
