An Uber driver was killed and his passenger critically injured when a suspected intoxicated 19-year-old ran a light in Oak Park. Tracey Sutton was charged with driving on a restricted license, and for having a blood alcohol limit that was twice the legal limit. He was given an alcohol and a GPS tether order if he is able to post his $2 million surety bond.

Ian Wells, 18, faces second-degree murder and other charges, while Gavin Ort, 19, is charged with accessory after the fact to a felony. Investigators say the victim and three other men were ambushed by several people armed with assault rifles while they were heading to pick up a group of women. Man charged in road rage shooting incident
On September 16 at approximately 5:40 p.m., troopers responded to northbound I-75 near Ortonville Road for reports of shots fired on the freeway. No injuries were reported in this incident. The alleged shooter was arraigned Sept. 20.

A 39-year-old man was fatally shot and a second man was wounded and taken into custody following a domestic-related confrontation Saturday evening in Pontiac. Oakland County Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched at approximately 7:15 p.m. to the 50 block of Monroe Street for a reported domestic disturbance. Gunshots were heard in the background during a call to the Sheriff’s Operations Center. When deputies arrived, they found a 39-year-old Mount Clemens Township man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was pronounced deceased at the scene. A 31-year-old St. Clair Shores man was also found suffering from a gunshot wound to his leg. He was taken into custody without incident and transported to a hospital for treatment, where he remains under guard.

According to police the woman was in her 30s, and on a break from work at a nearby business, when she was stabbed in an alleyway by a man in his 40s. Police say she ran to a nearby business for help. The suspect had fled. He was arrested at Woodward Avenue and State Street.
