Center for Success giving students activities to do after school

(WJBK) - After-school time is a really crucial time a student's life. Many time, troubles start when they are at home alone with nothing to do. One nonprofit is working to fill that void by giving students in underprivledged area something to do after school.

The Center for Success picks students up and brings them to their center twice a week for a meal and group activities. The students also work one-on-one with reading mentors and tutors.

The center is also looking for mentors who are able to volunteer their one for one hour a week. They have centers in Pontiac and Detroit. For more information, visit www.center4success.org.
