Hamlin Pub Banh Mi Ingredients 6 oz. Pickled Vegetables 1 cup matchstick/shredded carrots 1 cup shredded red cabbage 1/2 cup sliced cucumbers 1/4 cup thinly sliced red onion 1 Tbl sliced jalapeno 1 Tbl chopped cilantro 1/2 cup red wine vinegar 1 Tbl salt 1 Tbl sugar Mix vinegar, sugar, and salt in a large bowl. Wait 5 minutes and mix again to make sure sugar and salt is dissolved. 1 Ciabatta bun 6 oz Pork Belly Garlic aioli

Czapskis Kitchen Making Goulash
Goulash: 1 tablespoon Olive Oil 3 med onions 3 Green Pepper 3 red pepper 1/2 stalk celery 1 whole bulb garlic 4 bay leaves 1 tablespoon thyme 3 large cans diced tomatoes 3 cups water Salt & Pepper Cooked extra wide egg noodles Choice of brisket or pork 1- Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large, lidded casserole dish. When hot, sear the brisket all over, then set aside on a plate 2- Add the onions and peppers to the pan along with the celery and garlic and let cook over a low-medium heat until the onions are starting to colour - about 10 minutes 3- Add tomatoes, thyme and tomatoes and cook down for a few minutes. 4-Add the brisket back to the pan, along with wate. Season with salt and pepper then bring to the boil, put a lid on and simmer for 2-3 hours, or until the brisket is falling apart. Shred the meat into the sauce. Czapskis Kitchen 210 N. Continuing through December 30, the show offers artwork created by Pewabic artisans and more than 50 independent ceramic artists from across North America.“We have some spectacular new products and are offering more ways than ever for customers to shop,” says executive director Steve McBride. The iconic pottery’s collection of new releases this year includes a new iridescent glaze — Azurite — Snowflake Ornament trio, Winterberry vessels, two new necklaces, University of Michigan tile, re-released historic favorites and more. “Our mission of enriching the human spirit through clay is truly on display during the holiday season,” says McBride. “Everything we make at Pewabic is designed to bring a bit of beauty and joy into your daily life.” Customers can shop Pewabic’s latest designs and this year’s Holiday Showcase in-person, online or through phone and virtual shopping experiences. Heavens Door Bourbon's 3 Fall Cocktails
BOURBON HOT TODDY: Ingredients: 3/4 ounces honey 2 ounces Heavens Door Revelation 4-6 ounces hot water 1 lemon slice 1 apples slice 1 cinnamon stick 1 star anise Instructions: Add your bourbon whiskey and the honey to a heatproof mug. Then top with hot water and stir with a cinnamon stick until the honey has dissolved. Add a lemon slice, a cinnamon stick and a star anise. HEAVENLY WINTER BLUES COFFEE: Ingredients 8-10 oz hot coffee 2 oz Heavens Door Homesick Blues 2oz of Simple Syrup 1 cup heavy whipping cream ½ cup confectioner's sugar ground cinnamon to top with optional: cinnamon stick Instructions Make the whipping cream: in a stand mixer with a whip attachment, mix whipping cream and sugar on high for several minutes until stiff peaks form. Set aside. Pour hot coffee into a mug with whisky. Start with 1 oz whisky, then add another ounce if you feel you need/want more. Stir with a cinnamon stick to give the liquid just a hint of cinnamon; set cinnamon stick aside. Top with whipped cream. Sprinkle with ground cinnamon. Garnish with cinnamon stick. HOT APPLE CIDER BUTTERED BOURBON : INGREDIENTS 1 stick butter pinch of cinnamon small grating of nutmeg ½ cup brown sugar 1 cup bourbon 3 Cups of Warm Apples Cider INSTRUCTIONS • Place the butter, cinnamon and a small grating of nutmeg in a small saucepan. • Add in the sugar and stir gently until the sugar dissolves into the butter. • Remove from the heat and pour in the whiskey and Hot Apple Cider. • Serve immediately
