Restaurants are working to keep their businesses open amid a water main break in Auburn Hills that has led to boil water advisories and usage restrictions. 

FOX 2 talked with 61-year-old Philip Valente. This is not the first time he’s been accused of this type of crime, as just a few months prior, he was charged with preparing to burn property in Grosse Pointe Woods. However, now he’s facing new federal charges.

Great Lakes Water Authority (GLWA) CEO Susan Coffey said the replacement pipe was welded into place by 6 p.m. Monday, and the pipe was full and back to normal pressure by 2 a.m. Tuesday.
