While the campaign is national in scope, it is intentionally launching in Michigan, where literacy outcomes signal an urgent need for action. The campaign officially launched on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, honoring Dr. King’s belief that education and literacy are fundamental civil rights and essential pathways to equity and opportunity.
