Sydnee chats with authors Josh Malerman, Leigh Stroh, Hannah Whitten and fellow book lovers about all things books.

Leigh Stroh has been telling stories nearly his entire life. He studied and later taught creative writing in high school and at the college level. His journey through the education of nearly 5,000 students has been quite an adventure and continues now in the world of publishing. Stroh hopes his debut novel 'Just A Shot Away' raises bigger questions for bigger audiences.

Josh Malerman is an American novelist, songwriter, movie director, film producer, cartoonist and rhythm guitarist for the rock band The High Strung. He is best known for writing horror and his post-apocalyptic novel, Bird Box, which was the inspiration of the Netflix film Bird Box. He has a new release set in October "Other Mommy" based on his hit novel "Incidents Around the House."

Hannah Whitten has been writing to amuse herself since she could hold a pen, and sometime in high school, figured out that what amused her might also amuse others. Her books have been international bestsellers and translated into multiple languages. When she’s not writing, she’s reading, watching horror movies, or chasing after her feral children. She lives in Tennessee with her family, two dogs who think they run the house, and a cat who actually does.
