One dead in ATV crash in Redford Township

The crash happened just after 8 p.m. Sunday night, involving a 4-wheeler and at least one other vehicle. Redford Township police said that there was one person dead, but didn't release any further information right away.  The age and gender of the deceased have not been released.  A man who was shopping at the store on the corner said he heard a loud thud and came out of the store to see the crash scene.

Global markets are reacting tonight as tensions with Iran intensify and oil prices climb. Energy prices have surged amid escalating attacks between Israel and Iran and growing concerns that the conflict could disrupt global oil supplies. West Texas crude has climbed to around 90 dollars a barrel, and analysts warn prices could push past 100 dollars if fighting threatens shipping in the Strait of Hormuz. Cleanup continues in southwestern Michigan after four confirmed tornados struck the region. An EF 3 touched down in Union City, and EF 2 touched down in Three Rivers and two smaller tornadoes also hit the region.  In total four people were killed and 12 more injured in the storm outbreak.
