Police say after the officers were shot, Kemp leaped out of the second-story window and ran off. Man suspected of shooting Southgate officers arrested
Police say the incident happened on Northline Road at Village Park Drive at 4:10 p.m. at the Reserve Apartment where officers responded to a call of a man waiving a gun around. When they arrived, police say the suspect took out a gun and shot two officers in the leg. The man then jumped from the second story window and fled the scene. Both officers are in the hospital and are expected to be okay.

Two men facing felonies after Hookah shop raids
