The state election bureau has recommended that five GOP candidates for governor - including former Detroit Police Chief James Craig - to be left off the August Primary ballot due to a lack of valid signatures, reports Tim Skubick.

Calling it “The Hollier Challenge” Michael Griffie is alleging Adam Hollier is in violation of campaign finance law. Both Griffe, an attorney, and Hollier, a current state senator — are running for the same seat.
