The Detroit suburb is planning to display a memorial to its citizens that died from the pandemic from May 10-28. The city is encouraging residents to submit names, photos, and biographies of loved ones that were lost.

Michigan confirms first case of Brazil Covid variant

The P.1 variant originated in Brazil and was first confirmed in Bay County, near the city of Saginaw. The variant has been associated with increased transmission and reducing vaccine effectiveness.
