Detroit Police are going to discuss the investigation about the arrest of an off-duty officer who was found riding in a stolen car over the weekend.

"We have several processes that we go through each day, and when we identify a camera that is malfunctioning we address it immediately," Cmdr. Sloan said. "Unfortunately in this case, we did not identify that that camera was not working, because the electricity was disabled."

"I would hope that we find that there’s a misunderstanding, but it sure looks like that there’s a problem here that needs to be addressed," Roe said.
