Hazel Park considers 'Do Not Knock' ordinance

Hazel Park is inching closer to letting residents sign a "Do Not Knock Registry", making their home off limits to peddlers. Though it is only an idea as of Tuesday, it has alot of support from the Hazel Park City Council, and it was modeled after a similar ordinance in Troy where many residents there have told solicitors to get lost.

Woman called out for making sandwich in Zoom court

Asja Outerbridge was the mom making the sandwich. 36th District Court Judge Sean Perkins was the one on the other side of that Zoom call. She discovered the video after Metro Detroit News posted the Zoom call clip on Instagram.

3-day police chase comes to an end in Detroit

The chase started on Saturday in Dearborn and concluded at Eastern Market in Detroit where the arrest itself happened around 2 p.m. at the corner of Market Street and Winder. Most stores were closed on Mondays, but those that were open had a good view as police moved in for the arrest.
