Warren Police recommending felony charges against Amazon driver for resisting arrest, failed to show ID

Warren Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer is expecting to hold a press briefing at 11 a.m. on Wednesday to discuss the arrest of an Amazon delivery driver on Tuesday who police held after neighbors said he parked the wrong way on the street.

Her son is 23-year-old Jaylen Bond. That was him being placed under arrest Tuesday afternoon by Warren police. She, like so many others saw the arrest captured on cell phone video.

Police are not talking Tuesday night, but neighbors who witnessed the incident, are. A publicly shared Facebook Live video starts with the Amazon delivery man on the ground detained by police.

Before they set off in the heat, Warren Mayor Jim Fouts and Police Commissioner Bill Dwyer came to lend support to the protest and to listen.
