The shooting happened in the area of Michigan Avenue and Oakman at 9 p.m. The suspect is considered armed and dangerous and fled the area in what is believed to be a blue Chevrolet Impala.

There was a school bus that was heading east on Tireman and the moped was heading southbound on Oakman and he didn’t fully stop on the stop side and she ran over him," said Zeinab Elhadi, a witness.

Police release video showing bystanders help Dearborn cop in struggle with mentally ill suspect

Online video showed the suspect resist the officer. The two begin struggling and up in the street, a handful of residents ran over to help. Dearborn police released dashcam video and body cam video of the incident to FOX 2 Thursday night.

Dearborn police seek 3 who discharged fire extinguisher while trespassing
